Long Beach Museum: Looking at Long Beach and Claremont Connections

Full Description:

Looking at Long Beach continues the Museum’s tradition of presenting a variety of views of and attitudes about the city of Long Beach as well as works by Long Beach-based artists. This ambitious exhibition of 25 works of art by ten artists, includes a broad selection of works in a variety of two- and three-dimensional media that depict the beauty and blight, majesty and commonplace of the city of Long Beach. The presentation of Looking at Long Beach coincides with the Museum’s exhibition, Claremont Connections, which celebrates the 100-year anniversary of the city of Claremont and the opening of the new Claremont Museum of Art. Included are works by Claremont Colleges faculty and alumni.
